Whole masoor, also known as red lentil, is brown or green on the outside. Like all lentils in India, it has a high fibre content and is rich in protein. It contains potassium, calcium and B complex vitamins which help to convert our food into fuel and keep our bodies energised throughout the day. Our masoor dal can be used to make nutritious dals and khichdis with a variety of vegetables added to it.
